Bosh won't be traded

Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo claimed that he won't trade star power forward Chris Bosh with No.4 raptors jersey.

“The calls are a lot less frequent, and it’s a lot less focused on Bosh,” Colangelo told the Toronto Star. “Everybody starts with, ‘Well, apparently you’re not trading Bosh, so can we talk about so-and-so?’ Our intention is, we’re not going to move him, so we’re not discussing a scenario (that includes Bosh)." Although the Raptors run the risk of not being able to re-sign Bosh when he becomes a free agent this summer, the team has turned its season around after falling to 11-17 at one point in mid-December. Heading into today’s game against the Knicks, Toronto is 25-22 and has moved into a playoff spot in the East.

Arenas banned for taking a gun

Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton were still waiting for their chance as the other players with the wizards jerseys going through the so called “workmanlike practice” Thursday.

The New York Giants put Guard Chris Snee and tackle David Diehl to the list of the NFC Pro Bowl team.

According to the announcement the Giants said they added Snee and Diehl to replace Jahari Evans and Jonathan Stinchcomb of New Orleans, who will not play in the game because the Saints advanced to the Suer Bowl. Miami’s Sun Life Stadium will host the excited Pro Bowl. O’Hara can step in because Dallas’ Andre Gurode quitted with an injury. Smith got the chance because of his Giants record with 107 receptions this season after Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald dropped out with a knee injury. Diehl said it's an awesome accomplishment.

Reggie Wayne is ready

As a four-time Pro-Bowler, Wayne has a lot to prove Sunday in the marquee matchup at the AFC championship game. All season Revis only allowed one touchdown.

Wade Phillips has another two years

Playoff opener was not beyond the control of New Orleans Saints who own nine double-digit victories during the regular season.

Saints had never been to a Super Bowl, so they would try their best this time to prepare to host the Minnesota Vikings (13-4) in the first NFC championship game held in New Orleans next Sunday evening.

McAllister resigned with the Saints

McAllister is 31 years old and he has rushed for 6,096 career yards. He also makes the record of the club as 55 total touchdowns and 49 rushing TDs.

Shanahan is building his team

Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan is searching for the rest of his subordinates.

After both of his coordinators settled, Richard Mann whose contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is expering will go to the interview for the receivers coach later this week according to The Associated Press. League sources tols the NFLN etwork that Kyle has been appointed to be his offensive coordinatorJim Haslett has signed a three-year contract to serve as defensive coordinator. And Greg Blache is retiring. Associate Bob Slowik going with Shanahan for a long time will be a part of the staff as well.

For players, six-time Pro Bowl left tackle Chris Samuels suffered a neck injury said he loves to play the game with redskins jersey, but health is first.

Coach Kiffin steps into the USC

The dust really settled down this time. Pete Carroll secured his position and Lane Kiffin left Tennessee after one season Tuesday night to return to USC.

As expected, Southern California replaced Pete Carroll with a guy who is much familiar with the USC. Lane Kiffin has been an assistant coach for six years before his coaching history in NFL. He will return to the Trojans on Wednesday afternoon after 20games as the Oakland Raiders' head coach and 14 months at Tennessee. Leiweke said Pete brings a great passion for winning and a positive attitude this is contagious. They are excited to add Pete as their coach.
